The simplicity of the design of this villa was based on the need to provide as much open space for landscape surrounding it. The use of the modern travertine stone planes coupled with the orientation of the building and its massing provided the pool area with complete privacy from its surrounding without compromising its exposure to direct sunlight. The spatial configuration and opening placement is designed in a way to frame and strengthen the relationship between the exterior pool area and interior spaces without exposing the interior spaces to neighboring buildings whilst providing ample lighting to the interior spaces and sheltering the strong sun rays from penetrating the space.
