Scope: Architectural Redesign, Landscape, and Interior Design
We were approach by a client that wasn't content with the architectural design of his almost complete villa. In order to restore balance to the existing structure a series of modifications were carried out, extending from a playful manipulation and addition of several vertical and horizontal planes to balance out the massing of the existing structure, contrasting the existing stone material with the furrowed stone, creating new openings and modifying the existing ones, adding circulation elements surrounding the site, and redesigning the entire surrounding landscape to fit with the new design. Moreover, a complete interior redesign was carried out to create a more spacious and fluid movement throughout the residence.
