A different approach to the existing commercial approach to residential buildings. This design was focused on creating a new simple, sleek, modern and elegant design to showcase the possibilities of residential building designs. The design used the same local stone but with a non-conventional stone layout, modern aluminum cladding systems to contrast and highlight the light and simple stone materials and to highlight the simple massing and form, and aluminum cladding and shutters to conceal the mechanical systems whilst providing and interesting contrast with the structure. The structure also offers its residence with wide glass openings to increase the permeability of natural light through the interior space.
